An investor, entrepreneur, technologist, and philanthropist, Bill Malloy is based in San Diego, California, where he has led a diverse range of tech-focused companies over the course of his career. His current endeavors center on the development of engineering-powered software firms and on investment in nonprofits that are researching the cycle of cancer from diagnosis to treatment. In addition to these pursuits, Bill Malloy serves as the president of Malloy and Company, which is dedicated to enacting positive change at the community level through innovation.

Bill Malloy is also the co-founder of NEX3, which offers innovative technological solutions to startup companies. Over the years, he has held numerous seats on the board of directors of emerging companies such as Affinity, Fetch Robotics, Zanbato, and the virtual reality storytelling platform Penrose Studios.

At Sway Ventures, which he co-founded in 2013, Bill Malloy directed the efforts of an investment firm focused on emerging software companies. He and his team provided extensive support that ranged from operational planning and financial direction to comprehensive strategy, all contributing to the growth of the business and technology ecosystem across the United States and EMEA.

Bill Malloy’s philanthropic pursuits encompass the Malloy Foundation and the PEERS Network, the latter of which he co-founded in 2009. The PEERS Network continues its work of uniting entrepreneurs and executives from multiple sectors to lend their experience to the task of developing new generations of community-based nonprofits and social entrepreneurs. Dedicated to philanthropic endeavors, he previously served as a board member and treasurer with the Equinox Center in San Diego.

Bill Malloy graduated with a bachelor of science in engineering from Clemson University and subsequently went on to earn his master of business administration from the University of Southern California.
